Phaedra Parks got her peach back and confirmed she will return to The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 16.
The reality TV star announced the news on social media, posting a series of photos showing her posing with a peach and about to board a private jet.
“You called. I answered,” Phaedra posted on Instagram.
Phaedra’s recently finished filming Season 11 of Married to Medicine, her second on the Bravo reality series.
RHOA was in dire need of star power after Kenya Moore’s exit from the franchise. Kenya was involved in some messy drama with her co-star after she allegedly printed sexually explicit photos during an event filmed for the show.
Ultimately, Kenya seemingly opted to leave the show, which left a vacancy in the cast.
Phaedra is one of the most recognizable figures from RHOA, joining the series in Season 3 and holding a peach until Season 9. Her star power grew this year as one of the stars of The Traitors Season 2, showing that Housewives were not to be messed with.
The return of Phaedra to RHOA Season 16 will reunite her with Porsha Williams, who is also returning to the series following a brief break. Phaedra will also be joined by Drew Sidora, Brittany Eady, Kelli Ferrell, Shamea Morton Mwangi, and Angela Oakley. Cynthia Bailey is also expected to appear in the new season of RHOA.
RHOA had just started filming Season 16 when the incident with Kenya and Brittany occurred. Bravo has not confirmed if they will keep the filmed scenes with Kenya or if they will completely discard the content they had already filmed.
